Whether you’ve chartered before or this is the first time, we realize that you often have questions about how to charter the perfect yacht. For those who would like to browse through some of the more general questions that may help clarify a few issues, here are some hints that you might consider.
Depending upon the type of charter you’re interested in, of course, there’s no way we could fully answer all of your questions online, that is why we invite you to call us and speak with one of our professional charter representatives who can answer any other questions you may have.
How many people can we take?
We can accommodate up to 8 passengers on The Private Dancer. The party yachts which are suited for larger groups and dinner cruises are determined by your needs. Passenger capacity varies from vessel to vessel. For all sport Yacht and private motor Yacht, the maximum is 8.
Where can we board the yacht/leave from?
Private Dancer’s home port is conveniently located at Dania Beach Marina 151 North Beach Rd. Dania Beach FL 33004. 5 mins from Ft Lauderdale/Hollywood International Airport It is possible to make other arrangements for you to be picked up at another marina, restaurant, your home or a, or a different location
Where do we go?
Locales such as Biscayne Bay, Haulover Inlet Sand Bar, or Millionaires Row in Ft Lauderdale. When guests choose our Yacht, the crew will discuss possible routes and activities, limited only by location and length of charter. In general, our charters cruise through the waters of the Intracoastal waterways and locales such as Biscayne Bay. This ensures smooth sailing and avoidance of any rough waters. Ocean cruising is also possible, depending upon ocean conditions. Chartering a private yacht enables you to choose your destination and activity if available. Seatrek Charters has been serving South Florida since 1998, so we are very experienced with the waterways.
What do we do while onboard?
The SeaTrek offers many ways to spend your time on the water Intra-Coastal and ocean cruises, swimming, snorkeling and sightseeing are just a few.
Food and Beverage
SeaTrek is very flexible when it comes to the food and beverages you would like to have. You can bring your own food, have us cater it for you or even stop at one of the wonderful restaurants on the water depending on the length of your charter.
Music
On board is a state-of-the-art Bluetooth Sound System, You may bring your own playlists and listen to your own music.
How do we get to the boat/marina?
Transportation is usually your own responsibility. As we also provide concierge services we can make those arrangements for you. if necessary Click here for directions.
What happens if it rains?
The Private Dancer has a Bimini Top. If we have a little Florida Shower it won’t spoil the cruise. The large and comfortable cabin also offers completely dry space and is fully Air Conditioned. Of course in the event of a hurricane or severe weather, we can always reschedule your trip.
Does anyone ever get sea sick?
The yacht cruises mostly on the Intracoastal Waterways which is a very smooth ride.
What are our payment options?
Depending on how the trip is booked or through whom, we offer several payment methods. We do accept all major credit cards, Zelle, Cash APP, and of course cash.
